Satanism is Stupid

I confess I knew very little of Satanism. I thought it was a group of people dedicated to worshipping Lucifer as though he were a god… which was stupid to me because God already kicked his ass. What kind of idiots support the guy who lost, exactly? Real bright idea there…

But no, apparently true Satanism (or at least, modern Satanism, aka LeVay Satanism) is instead about self-indulgence, and living in the here and now. In other words, let’s get drunk and have sex because yolo!

Since I was apparently wrong about Satanism before, I decided to pick up an electronic copy of their bible, and flip through it. Within minutes I was frustrated by the ridiculousness of it all.

The Truth About Depression

I’ve been through quite a few bouts of depression (hell, I’m going through one right now as I write this). It just comes about suddenly, and I begin feeling in a way that seems out of character.

Now I don’t mean depression as in “oh, I’m so sad… I need attention.” That’s not depression; that’s pretention.

No, I mean true depression. This is how I can best describe it. Have you ever been so tired you just don’t feel like doing anything? Your house could be burning, and you wouldn’t lift a finger. In fact, your mindset is “fine, let it burn; one less thing to deal with.”

Well, imagine being wide awake and feeling that – all the time.

It's not Kids These Days, It's Parents

I’m actually really getting sick of hearing all the whining from adults about how “kids these days” are acting. How is it that within this interconnected information line we all share that nobody realizes that kids act the way they do because of the way they’re raised?

Seriously, parents, it’s you. It’s completely you, and I hope more people start picking up on this. The next time a kid acts out, I want everyone to look at you and say “what the hell are you teaching that kid?”

Here’s a few things I think parents should fully take the blame for, and how we should treat them based on how their kid acts.
